This class is aimed at the day students but is open to adults as well (revision at intermediate level).
During the first session, we will concentrate on grammar points, with exercises and practice. The aim is to handle the language correctly and to practice writing in English. We will follow what is being done during the day English classes.
During the second session, we will concentrate on reading and understanding texts. This will enable us to concentrate on oral practice. The aim is to feel more confident when speaking in English.

Nous utiliserons le manuel New Headway (units 1-6), Third Edition, mais également tout autre support tel que : proverbes, devinettes, poèmes, cartoons, pubs et autres...
Nous privilégierons l'échange oral avec beaucoup de travail en petits groupes et nous nous familiariserons avec la phonétique à l'aide des "tongue-twisters"

Using material found in different medias such as newspapers and the Internet, we will first work on comprehension.
We will then use that material as the basis for what I hope will be interesting and challenging discussions.
One out of every four session will be dedicated to grammar.

Conversation based on magazine or newspaper articles of your choice - e.g. cinema, sports, travel, current events, hobbies, music, literature etc. The relaxed and friendly atmosphere of the group will give you confidence to exchange your opinions and ideas with the other students.
